Drop-in sessions for Bellfield’s Big Build

Coffee, Cake & Book Sale by Portobello Amnesty Group

Saturday 12th April, 10am - 12pm, Large Hall.

£2 entry for adults, children FREE.
Entry includes tea/coffee/juice.
Payment by card or cash.

Talk: Robert Douglas Carrie KPM; A Life Lived in Leith

Tuesday 15th April, 7.30pm in Celebration Hall, FREE to attend

The Annual General Meeting of Portobello Heritage Trust will feature Gerard McEwan from Edinburgh, Lothian & Borders Police Historical Society who will be dressed in historical uniform to talk about Robert Douglas Carrie, KPM. A Life lived in Leith. This promises to be an interesting story about a Leith policeman who was awarded the King's Police Medal in 1941.

There will also be an opportunity to buy shares for Bellfield’s Big Build Community Share Offer.

Bellfield’s Big Bash

Saturday 26th April
Showcase event: 2-5pm, FREE entry
Ceilidh: 6-10pm, Tickets £5

with Edinburgh Youth Theatre, Throwback Choir, Circus & Bellydancing!
You are welcome to drop in, come and go. There will be refreshments and we'll publish more details of the timings as we firm them up.

CEILIDH 6-10pm
with Ceilidh Collective and Jiggy Stardust. There will be a licenced bar, dances are non gendered and everyone is welcome! Tickets are £5 for over 16s and available from our share shop https://bellfields-big-build.sumupstore.com/

(The Ceilidh £5 ticket price will also be redeemable against the price of a share! Under 16s are free but need a ticket so we know numbers.)

The Friday Café

Come along to Bellfield’s Foyer on Fridays at 10am-12:30pm for our weekly volunteer-run Community Café. Meet new people, connect with friendly faces, learn new skills and, of course, have some tasty nibbles. The café is open to all and it’s ‘pay what you feel’ (by donation)!

We have a line-up of optional skills sharing sessions which run from 11am-12pm every week.
